Screen setting is a perfect role for a Pokemon like this and is honestly the most work you can hope to get out of it. I can see one main problem with this team: If your Raticate is out-sped by a powerful water type, you basically have no other strong defense against water types. Use it to KO. -Fire Blast Rock Slide is coverage against Flying types. Fly(STAB, HM) This is a huge problem with Gym TMs. Mega Kick is to take advantage of higher Attack than Sp. http://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/yellow/normal/dodrio-color.png For an easy and very smooth run on Red/Blue : Bulbasaur as a starter : Venusaur, Nidoking, Kadabra, Jolteon, Snorlax, Starmie. Also, jolteon also needs a tm to get thunderbolt. -Psychic DRAGONITE, Moves: Did struggle exist in Red, Blue, and Yellow? So, when I played Blue, this was my team. Thunder Wave is for easy paralysis. - Submission -Mega Drain If you don't want me to leave you hanging. Light Screen(Support). Surf and Strentgh are HMs. He starts off with Dig, Sand-Attack, Growl, and Scratch. Generally, my rule is that I have to have at least the same number of fire types as any other, if not more. FireSpin Is the fire equivilant of wrap, and can be useful if the target is already poisoned, burned, or seeded. Blastiose The fire move and Fly are for coverage. According to Pokémon’s own creators, Bulbasaur is the best choice you can make. You’ll have tons of teammates, plenty of Raid partners, and lots of gyms to control and/or fight over. Body Slam is STAB and can paralyze. Fly and Drill Peck are Flying STAB, and Tri Attack and Double Edge are Normal STAB. -rock slide Fly is a very useful HM. charizard only gets fly in yellow, and why no gyarados? It has a powerful thunderbolt and has double kick since most grounds have the additional rock typing. Ground and Electric are good types early game, whilst Fighting and Water are mauled. Yes, but it's the same as with using legendaries. - Sleep Powder But you can recruit many grass types, and they all learn bullet seed, and bonemarang isn't necesarry with that. The Pokemon I recommend is Eevee (for you) and a Cyndaquil(as partner). Share your best in-game teams for Pokemon Platinum on this thread! I consider him to be the worst of the team but he is so good in early game that it is a must to have in your team. Many players can't get an Alakazam. Low Kick is 50 base power, 90% accurate with a 30% chance to flinch in this gen so Para-Flinch is a real possibility thanks to it's alright speed stat. This was my filler Fly user. Please do not recommend abusing any of these. It is helpful to note that these games were released prior to the Gen 4 physical-special split. It's also my favorite so I put up with it. My spiel about this team: Charizard: Flamethrower, Fire Spin, Slash, Earthquake Submit your team as an answer, not a comment. Other options include surf, icebeam/blizzard, thunderbolt/thunder, and more. This is a Pokémon whose existence seems to be a cruel joke – this poor thing is 80% tongue, and you don’t know where that tongue has been.. 145. - Surf (HM) The Pokémon Summer Academy is almost over, but there's one more event left: the Pokémon Triathlon! Comments: I tried using a level 50 Raichu to beat the Elite Four, but it simply wasn’t enough. Snorlax starts with Rest, which I kept in case of emergencies. Replace Scratch with Slash when he can learn it. You receive the TM for Fissure from the Viridian City Gym Leader (no spoilers to those who don’t know who it is! -fire blast Pokemon Blue is part of the Pokemon Games, RPG Games, and Fighting Games you can play here. - Fly Fire Blast: High powered STAB for if you're in a pinch, but low PP - Flash. Thunderwave: Paralysis is at its finest in gen 1, and is a fate worse than death for fast sweepers like alakazam. -Razor Leaf att + sp. Magmar The nostalgia of Pokemon Red and Blue is at its highest, causing some fans to return to or even try the original games out for the first time. It's also a good idea to keep some Pokémon on your team that are not designed for attacking, but instead for healing other Pokémon or taking many hits. Hyper Beam and Drill Peck are STAB. This is called "stalling." Pin missile When was Pokemon red and green and blue and yellow beta first announced in Japan ? Low Kick(STAB, Flinch) I highly endorse Lapras. The other Pokemon on this team counter that type very well, though, so I usually go with Mega Kick. so this is the best Pokemon team you will know as on of the top 20's that has no legendary in this team! Venusaur 25, Coverage, Status). This selection lists all the Pokémon battles against the player's rival, Blue, in Red, Green and Blue from start to finish. In later battles, Blue's Eevee will change depending on the outcomes of the first and second battles: If the player wins both battles, it evolves into Jolteon. Psychic(TM, Coverage) Drill Peck: 1 turn STAB http://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/yellow/normal/charizard-color.png You also get it right as you are about to face the Electric type Gym Leader, so it just gives you a huge advantage.
